The NRI Trust is a charitable venture by Dialgarh born entrepreneur Narinder Singh Sunny. It was created out of his own personal interest in social welfare, sparked by the combination work which he had previously carried out, and his upbringing, in his village. As a result of his passion, Sunny Singh created, and officially registered, The Sahara Charitable Trust in Dialgarh through his own personal efforts. Since the trust’s inception the issues in the Dialgarh community have been of growing concern which has attracted the membership of further benefactors and opened up membership to the trust to anybody who wishes to aid this noble cause.
The trust is not associated with any political party, religion, caste, colour, race, state,
etc. Anyone can become a member. We provide aid to the underprivileged and the physically handicapped, while providing financial support for weddings of girls from underprivileged families, and any other type of problem affecting societies most impoverished people. The trust also provides financial support for boys and girls requiring education but who do not have the financial means to study.
We also provide medical funding for any handicapped or injured people in need of medical attention. The trust uses its funds to provide social services and is completely dependent on donations from the general public. Anyone from any part of the world can make a donation to help us provide support and assistance to those who need it the most.
We currently receive donations from several countries in Europe, Australia, Canada, USA, and the Gulf countries. Some residents in these countries are also members and help those in need directly through the trust. No amount donated to the trust goes to waste. Anyone who has donated to the trust or any interested parties can request information about how the money is donated and spent, i. e. the work of the trust is completely transparent.
